We continue to draw on the traditional clothing techniques and expertise of the Nottingham area where the company was founded back in 1860. We also have offices in London, where the marketing, online and wholesale team reside.

Knitwear GarmentTechnologist – Fixed Term - Maternity cover

sense of tradition and uses this as a springboard to shape the future. The Product Development team is looking to expand and recruit a
Knitwear Technologist.

The Role:

Working with the Design team on the development of new products within the Sunspel knitwear
range. taking garments from prototype stage all
the way through to production, thorough liaison with designers and
specific factories. To assist with all technical aspects of Knitwear garments
produced by the design department. You must have experience working within a luxury or
premium apparel business and ideally have worked on both Men’s and Women’s Knitwear.

Key responsibilities:

 Ensuring that design teams designs are not compromised and interpreting the
design aesthetic from sketch to reality.

Engineering the product to optimise efficient manufacturing and maximise
profitability.

To oversee fit sessions in the relevant areas with the Design team and to
make accurate notes relating to garment construction

Translate design sketches in to workable information to provide to
outsourced suppliers.

Supporting and liaising with factories on all issues of quality assurance
from proto stages and sampling whilst also monitoring the highest standards of
production at all times.

Requirements:

A minimum of
two years’ experience of working in the clothing industry.

Educated to degree level in Fashion or
equivalent.

Proven experience in a Knitwear technical
role, and working with outsourced factories.

Excellent organisational &
communication skills are required for liaison with
agents, suppliers and internal departments.

Experience with Illustrator and advanced
Microsoft Office.

Full, current driving license required.

Salary - DOE

Logistics Manager

The Role
As the Logistics Manager for Sunspel, you will work with our third-party warehousing sites, these are based globally. You will need to ensure that all Operational targets in relation to Service, Quality and Productivity are met, with the focus being on efficiency. The role will require you to support all channels within the business ensuring stock is delivered within our KPI targets and are compliant with all shipping regulations. You will need to build a resilient Supply Chain to Mitigate Risks and Reduce Revenue Loss.


Responsibilities:
• Manage logistical KPI’s to the required standard from all sites, ensuring consistency across all global warehouses.
• Manage logistic activities in accordance with contractual arrangements.
• Ensure contact is maintained with third party warehouses and any other external shipping partners.
• Produce internal business reports covering operational statistics to track performance against KPI’s and share with Senior Mgt.
• Manage relationship and contracts with all couriers, reviewing costs and transportation rates, assessing their performance, and researching alternative shipping options.
• Ensure Sunspel adheres to international distribution regulations, manage all data and documentation required for import and export. Ensuing we are compliant across all channels and warehouses.
• Work with internal departments to ensure stock is managed effectively and efficiently between the globally warehouses and stores
• Ensure capacity planning is being undertaken to accommodate pending deliveries as required
• Monthly audit of internal and external storage facilities. Reporting deviations from agreed volumes to all stakeholders
• Working within the company's operational procedures and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment
• Always follow Health and Safety rules and instruction, avoid improvisation, and comply with the employee handbook/health and safety policy
• Support Senior Management with coordination on all Logistic projects required for the business
• Ensure logistics operations across UK, Europe, and wider Group to align on ways of working and strategic objectives
• Oversee and manage all logistical request and the warehouse for our Sunspel, Long Eaton site
• Responsible for all inventory management at Long Eaton site
• Manage all company delivery processes across the UK and other regions if required
• Any other ad hoc requests from your line Manager

Expected Deliverables:
• Weekly & Monthly SLA reporting across all warehouses
• Deliver monthly Tracking and issue reports, to understand carrier performance and help to drive customer retention
• Monthly analysis and review of Budgets

Experience and skills:
• Proven experience in logistics management environment, specifically within the Clothing Industry
• Ideally experience of working with third party warehouses in a cross-channel business
Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
• An analytical and questioning mentality, with advance Excel skills
• Proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
• Ambitious, highly motivated, capable of both strategic thinking and tactical delivery
• A dynamic team player with great interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations

Customer Service Representative

The Role

Sunspel are now looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative, to join the team. The role of Customer Service Representative is essential in providing an excellent shopping and service experience to all our customers.

The Customer Services Representative will work within a team to ensure accurate, on time and safe delivery of all orders, as well as driving sales and answering customer enquiries via phone, email and live chat. It is vital that we not only ensure that all orders are delivered promptly and correctly, but that we make customer satisfaction a priority at all time. 

Specific responsibilities:

• Providing excellent customer service is a pivotal part of this role. A large proportion of the day to day role is email based which will require the customer service representative to deliver a high level, accurate and full response

•You will communicate with customers via the phone, email and live chat

• Work with the warehouse and carriers to ensure that the customer has the best delivery experience. Liaise with couriers to locate lost or missing parcels

•Aid with the supervising and maintaining of the customers online shopping journey, ensuring imagery, descriptions, FAQ’s and content are correct

•Look to where at all possible establishing long-term relationships with key customers based on data about their preferences, behaviours and purchases

•Fraud checking and processing all orders that come through the website

•Process returns and refunds in a timely manner

•Confidently liaising with members of the team from other departments, including merchandising, marketing, production and store retail staff

Experience and Skills: 

• Proven track record of working
effectively and efficiently within a customer service environment

 • Experience with an online luxury retailer would be beneficial

• Good administration and numerical skills

• Excellent IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft

• Experience with using Freshdesk and Shopify would be
beneficial

• Passionate about your work with a ‘can-do’ attitude

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
